Dr Demi Cooney graduated in 2015 with from RMIT University with a Bachelor Degree in Health Science (Chiropractic) and a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic.

Dr Demi grew up in a family of Chiropractor’s and Naturopath’s so has a strong belief in the innate healing potential of the body and the ways in which our environment helps promote and support a healthy life trajectory. She loves caring for the whole family from newborns to grandparents and believes that optimal health is a journey not a destination. She loves providing individualised care that is tailored to her clients age, development stage, goals and lifestyle to ensure that they are getting the best care to express health 100%.

Dr Demi has a keen interest in paediatric neurodevelopment, health and wellbeing, women’s health and pregnancy. In 2020 Dr Demi completed her International Chiropractic Paediatric and Perinatal Chiropractic and Webster certification. This certification is an advanced training program that equips chiropractors with specialised knowledge and skills to provide safe, evidence-informed, and developmentally appropriate care from pregnancy through childhood. It has a strong emphasis on neurodevelopment, birth physiology, and the Webster Technique.

Dr Demi utilises a number of techniques with her clients including SOT and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). Neuro-Emotional Technique is a mind-body approach that helps identify and release unresolved emotional stress stored in the nervous system, supporting improved physical and emotional wellbeing. She will be offering this service for clients late 2026.
